Our Events

There are no actors involved on a To Die For... Murder Mystery Event.  The guests themselves play the characters - one of them will be the murderer!  Rather than being a spectator on an actor led murder your guests create their own play using character booklets with Helena Tendall attending as the interrogating officer and leading the fun.  It's a light-hearted event which brings people together to solve an intriguing mystery. 

All the plots are suitable for adults, however, the plots 'A Talent Show...To Die For' and 'A Cruise...To Die For' are also suitable for children aged 10+ for youth club or school events.  Go to the plots page for further information about our 9 fantastic storylines. 

What we provide

Personalised invitations, including character and plot information, to send to your guests before the event

Booklets (provided on the day of the event) which act as scripts for your guests. 

Full facilitation of the event including Power Point Presentation.

Venue finding service - we'll find a suitable venue near you if you'd prefer not to hold it in your own home.

For Day or Weekend Events an orienteering style clue hunt can be plotted and laid before the event on a route of your choice.

Sample Timetable for a Day Event

10am Rules and Introductions

10.30am Alibis

11.00am Countryside Clue Hunt (from 1 to 10 miles)

1.00pm Question and Answer session (usually over a pub lunch)

3.00pm Team discuss their deductions

4.00pm Detective Coulston reveals the murderer.  Prize giving.

6.30pm Rules and Introductions

7.00pm Alibis

7.15pm Clue Hunt (a mini-hunt around or inside your chosen venue)

8.00pm Questions and Answers (usually over an evening meal)

9.00pm Deductions

10.00pm Investigating Officer (Helena Tendall) reveals the murderer.  Prize giving.


Weekend Event - will be tailored to your needs at a venue of your choice.  With optional pub quiz on Saturday night.
